The project takes 673 km of highways as the line, connecting 9 first-class post stations, 19 second-class post stations, 45 viewing terraces, and nine clusters. At present, Qilu Tian Road has completed the planning for improving the tourism function of self-driving highways.
In 2022, the road has attracted tens of thousands of riders from 16 cities in Shandong, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Henan, Jiangsu, Shenyang, Zhejiang, Anhui, and other places for self-driving tourism, creating considerable economic benefits and remarkable social benefits. By providing tourists with tourism services, specialty food, scenic spot browsing, characteristic shopping and other consumption item, it can promote common prosperity for 722 administrative villages (communities) and 870,000 people.
