East China's Shandong province will intensify efforts to promote employment and entrepreneurship, which are top government work priorities, said local authorities.
A news conference was held recently by the Information Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government to introduce the province's latest policies and measures to boost employment encourage entrepreneurship.Employment is significant to people's livelihoods but also essential to economic development, said the Shandong officials.
The major objective of stabilizing economic growth is to secure employment, which will be promoted with medium-to-high economic development.
Ten supportive policies focusing on protecting people's livelihoods have been launched by the Shandong Provincial Government in response to the impact of the pandemic.
Policies will be implemented to promote an environment for mass entrepreneurship and innovation, streamline administration, delegate power to lower-level governments, and optimize administrative services and business system reform.
Shandong will accelerate the construction of entrepreneurship incubation bases and maker spaces. Efforts will be made to expand financing channels and promote angel investment, entrepreneurship investment, and internet finance to meet the financing demands of entrepreneurship.
The province will roll out supporting measures to back college graduates, retired veterans, and other key populations.
Efforts will be made to improve local education and training quality, public employment, entrepreneurship service and the human resource market.
