Recently, "Select Shandong" cloud platform released high-level talents demand for key positions in Shandong Province in 2021. According to the statistics, from the regional demand, the demand for high-level talents from the central and provincial organizations in Shandong has been the hottest. 159 related organizations have submitted the demand of 8,841 high-level talents for 1,118 positions, accounting for 44.6% of the total demand of talents, which is the major source of the demand for high-level talents in Shandong.

In terms of the distribution of cities in Shandong, Jinan, Qingdao and Jining have a greater demand for high-level talents, especially Qingdao, which has a demand for 2,368 talents. Employers in Jinan are highly motivated to introduce high-level talents, with 136 organizations submitting their demand.

 In terms of the distribution of the field of attracting talents, Shandong has the greatest demand for a new generation of information technology talent this year, a total of 536 positions requirements, reaching 17%; demand for medical and health care industry, high-end equipment industry are also booming, all above 10%; demand for boutique tourism industry is relatively small, less than 3%; in emerging industries, the demand for artificial intelligence is relatively large, accounting for 2% of all demand, basically the same of the current industrial layout of Shandong.

In terms of education background demand, master's degree and above account for 99.5% of the demand for high-level talents in Shandong, including 49.85% of the demand for doctoral and above talents, resulting in an urgent demand for highly educated talents.

In terms of the demand for working hours in Shandong, the requirements of enterprises and institutions in Shandong for the working hours of talents are mainly full-time. Next, the guidance and training demand to be strengthened for employers to attract talents flexibly, and the actual results should be the primary indicator on the demand for high-level experts, and the introduction of talents should not be limited by the time they come to work in Shandong.
