Following the registration and establishment of Beijing Stock Exchange Co., Ltd., Beijing Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as "BSE") drafted the first series of business rules related to self-discipline supervision on September 5, and publicly solicited opinions from the market. It can be seen that the outline of Beijing Stock Exchange is getting clear gradually. so, after the establishment of the BSE, what development opportunities will it actually bring to Shandong?

Seemingly, there was no sign to indicate the inception of Beijing Stock Exchange, but in fact, it was born out of the reform practice at the selected layer for National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) in the last two years. Founded on the basis of the existing NEEQ's selected layer, Beijing Stock Exchange will generally continue the each basic system of the selected layer. Thus, the first batch of companies to enjoy the BSE's dividends will definitely be those listed on NEEQ, especially those at the selected layer.

Among the 66 listed companies nationwide at the selected layer, there are 6 Shandong companies, namely Genius Electronics, Qilu Huaxin, Fengguang Precision, Wantong Hydraulic, Digihuman and QI Automotive, and they are expected to be the first batch of listed companies to land on the BSE.

As a new starting point for the reform of the NEEQ, BSE is tasked with serving small and medium-sized enterprises. While the new listed companies added in the Beijing stock exchange come from innovative companies listed on the NEEQ for 12 months, maintaining a progressive market pattern.

At present, there are 454 enterprises in the province listed on the NEEQ. In the first half of the year, Shandong Securities Regulatory Bureau data show that the equity financing of the NEEQ enterprise under its jurisdiction read RMB1.119 billion, and the targeted placement scale of NEEQ companies increased by 209.12% year-on-year. With rapid development momentum, these NEEQ enterprises may be stronger in the capital market by taking advantage of BSE's policy dividends.
