The Jinan Area focuses on assisting enterprises in attracting talents. With the service for foreign talents being constantly upgraded, the working environment for foreign talents in Jinan keeps improving.
First, facilitate work permits for foreigners. The combination of foreigner's work permit in China and "no-meeting approval" service enables foreigners to apply for, extend, change and cancel work permits online. The "Foreigner's Work Permit" will be issued within 48 hours to high-end foreign talents under the "Quancheng Program for High-end Foreign Experts Introduction", requiring no recommendation from institutions. By coordinating work with Exit-Entry Administration Bureau, one-on-one services will be provided to foreigners working for companies such as Yasbo (Jinan) Health Technology Co., Ltd. and Grünbau Green Construction Technological Company.
Second, carry out international mutual recognition of professional qualifications. The Jinan Area supports the Department of Human Resources and Social Security in issuing "Notice on Carrying out International Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications in Jinan Area", being the first to carry out the recognition of foreign professional qualifications recognized by the country (region) where the worker stays. The recognition of foreign professional qualifications proposed by enterprises or institutions can be "discussed case by case". Outstanding talents with international professional qualifications can apply for domestic talent projects, and enjoy the corresponding title and treatment.
Third, optimize the life services for foreign talents. The Jinan Area will help downtown hospitals coordinate the work with international medical insurance institutions, expand overseas claim channels of international insurance, and provide facilitation services for foreigners seeking medical care with health insurance. By collaborating with the Municipal Education Bureau, the Jinan Area has planned and built Jinan Thomas School for Kids of Foreign Personnel, which enrolls students from nine countries, including the U.S., U.K. and Canada, fully meeting the educational needs of kids of foreign personnel.
