Focusing on 43 key industrial chains in 9 major industrial fields, such as new-generation information technology and high-end equipment, Shandong accurately drew “One Atlas” covering key links in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, thoroughly sorted out “N Lists”, such as leading enterprises, key supporting enterprises, main characteristics and advantages, shortcomings to be broken through urgently, collaborative technology research, regional layout optimization, key construction projects, “investment attraction and talent introduction”, and match-making external resources, determined 112 “industrial chain core” enterprises and 709 core supporting enterprises, and basically clarified the “main body frame” of the key industrial chain.

With the further implementation of “industrial chain head system”, on the basis of the 43 key industrial chains determined last year, in the principle of “National Needs, Market Prospects, Shandong’s Foundations”, Shandong has optimized and integrated 11 iconic industrial chains headed by Shandong provincial leaders as “industrial chain heads” this year. In order to implement the breakthrough project of the iconic industrial chains, Shandong is further refining and improving “One Atlas & N Lists”, sorting out a number of key core and major technologies for the iconic industrial chains, and accelerating the breakthroughs of the “cutthroat” technologies in the industrial chains.
