With a focus on wind energy, solar energy, energy storage, hydrogen energy and other key fields, Shandong will implement the industrial upgrading project, and gradually form a new energy industry cluster with strong core competitiveness, an integrated industrial chain and distinctive advantages.
With an emphasis on green and low-carbon development, supported by major projects, Shandong is weaving an energy security network systemically, and playing a key role in stabilizing supply and expanding investment while promoting the transformation and upgrading of the energy structure.
This year, Shandong has released a series of substantial support policies for renewable energy: It will grant subsidies of 800 yuan, 500 yuan and 300 yuan per kilowatt respectively to the offshore wind power projects completed and connected to the grid between 2022 and 2024 in the "fourteenth five-year" period; will grant subsidies of 1,000 yuan, 800 yuan, 600 yuan and 400 yuan per kilowatt respectively to the floating offshore PV projects completed and connected to the grid between 2022 and 2025 in the "fourteenth five-year" period; will explore the development of hydrogen production from renewable energy and pilot projects of hydrogen production and refueling stations outside chemical parks without being restricted by a fixed investment of no less than 300 million yuan, to accelerate the development of the hydrogen industry.
These policies will offer guidance on the construction of major new infrastructure projects in fields such as offshore wind power, offshore PV and hydrogen, and drive the development of new energy-related industries.
