On the morning of September 6, the KZ-1A solid launch vehicle named "Quancheng 1" was lifted off from the Qiuquan Satellite Launch Center, sending into a predetermined orbit the Weili Space-1 S3/S4 test satellite powered by an LEO satellite enhancement system in the way of "one rocket and two satellites". This means that Jinan has become the first Chinese city to realize full deployment in three important fields: commercial aerospace communication, navigation and remote sensing.
Since China started encouraging the development of commercial aerospace, Jinan has developed its advantages in system R&D, constellation construction, satellite application and industrial talent training. Especially this year, the success of the Aerospace Information Industry Summit and the successful launch of "Quancheng 1" have demonstrated Jinan's comprehensive competitiveness in aerospace information. Next Jinan Innovation Zone will vigorously implement the three-year action plan for the development of the aerospace information industry, constantly improve the industrial chain, intensify the introduction of upstream and downstream enterprises, improve and strengthen industrial clusters, and make great efforts on carrier planning and construction and talent training for the aerospace information industry park, so as to become a major domestic aerospace information industry base.
