As part of the Third Dezhou Conference on Tourism for Development, the Dezhou, China-Westland, Netherlands Agro-tourism Promotion Webinar was held online and offline on September 28.
"I'm in favor of developing bilateral tourism, our travel agencies and companies are happy to work with our peers in Dezhou, and we'll witness this today," said Leni De Vasuys, former Deputy Governor of Zuid-Holland Province in his address.
At the seminar, the two sides briefly introduced respective features and advantages in cultural tourism and other aspects. The Publicity Department of the CPC Dezhou Municipal Committee signed memorandums of friendly cooperation with Tomatoworld Foundation and Westland City Agro-tourism Company respectively.
"Since establishing friendship and cooperative relations in 2016, Dezhou and Westland have carried out in-depth cooperation in agriculture, forestry, horticulture, economic trade and other fields, thus achieving remarkable results," said Liu Zhirong, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Dezhou Municipal Committee. The signing of the memorandums will build a new bridge of communication for the two cities to deepen cooperation in various fields, exchange advanced experience, create more business opportunities and achieve more results in tourism, eco-agriculture, intelligent greenhouses, agriculture, forestry and horticulture, energy conservation and emission reduction. Meanwhile, Dezhou will take this opportunity to promote its fine tourism attractions and routes like Quancheng Euro Park, China Post Road and Ancient Mulberry Trees in the Old Course of the Yellow River in Xiajin, to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two cities.
