On November 2, the press conference of the National SME Digital Transformation Conference was held in Beijing and Shandong.
At the conference, Ling Wen, Vice Governor of Shandong Province, introduced that as a major province in the digital economy, the total digital economic output of Shandong has exceeded RMB 3.5 trillion, ranking third in China. Shandong Province has continuously explored the digital transformation of SMEs. The province's SMEs are mainly industrial enterprises, with an authoritative digitalization rate of 67.8% in key business, ranking second in China. Zhang Haibo, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Head of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong, said that Shandong has developed 4 national-level dual-span industrial Internet platforms, 18 featured professional platforms, and built 155 provincial-level key platforms, serving more than 500,000 SMEs in the province. It has developed more than 700 provincial-level pilot demonstration projects for the integrated development of new-generation information technology and manufacturing industry, of which more than 100 has been selected as national industrial Internet pilots.
Ling Wen said that Shandong would continue to unswervingly follow the road of new industrialization, deepen exchanges and cooperation between international, provincial and inter-provincial regions, create a new model of innovative integration and development, and fully empower SMEs by digital technology.
