Shandong Development and Reform Commission reported the progress of provincial key projects in October. As of the end of October, among 2,300 provincial key projects, 2,120 out of 2,121 projects planned to be implemented within the year commenced, accounting for 99.95%. Accumulatively, 885.699 billion yuan was invested in these projects, 18.3 percentage points higher than the yearly investment plan. The overall progress is beyond expectation.

In addition, of 1,620 provincial key construction projects, all 1,583 projects planned to be implemented within the year already commenced. Accumulatively, 430.81 billion yuan was invested in these projects, 22.7 percentage points higher than the yearly investment plan. All 16 cities in Shandong have fulfilled the annual investment plan in advance. Qingdao, Zaozhuang, Weifang, Jining, Liaocheng, and Binzhou saw accumulative investments over 25 percentage points higher than the yearly investment plan. Following that, Shandong will continue to move toward the targets, never slacken efforts, strive to solve difficulties in guaranteeing essential factors and advancing certain projects, and make unremitting efforts in the fourth quarter to ensure the successful implementation of the projects.
