On November 28, the Inauguration Meeting of the Shandong Sub-center of the National Industrial Internet Big Data Center was held online. The Shandong Sub-center was formally launched, which was jointly built by the China Academy of Industrial Internet, the Qingdao Municipal People’s Government, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, and the Shandong Communications Administration. As China’s first national regional sub-center, it will develop a new service system for industrial big data resources that can collect, transfer, and apply data in Shandong Province.
The sub-center will set up seven service modules, namely digital economy monitoring, industrial chain monitoring, security monitoring, empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), public services of industrial clusters, digital evaluation of enterprises, and public services of key industrial chains. In addition, it will gather 5PB-plus data resources and create more than 200 small, quick, lightweight, and targeted digital solutions to serve tens of thousands of enterprises, so as to play a key role in supporting Shandong to deepen the replacement of old growth drivers with new ones and promoting green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. As the national multi-industry and cross-sectoral industrial internet platform, COSMOPlat has made efforts to build up its strength and taken an active part in establishing the National Industrial Internet Big Data Center and the Shandong Sub-center. Furthermore, it has undertaken the construction of the sub-center’s two major modules—digital economy monitoring and public services of industrial clusters, providing technical and platform support for monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of the digital economy indexes.
