In recent years, Shizhong District has made constant efforts in diverse fields to develop industries. In terms of promoting the construction of central dynamic zones, a new campus was built for the Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital of Shandong Province, effectively improving the medical service level of surrounding areas. In terms of the energy Internet industry, the project of Shandong Energy Internet Green and low-carbon Demonstration Base was constructed. It's expected that the base will gather 50 industrial chain enterprises in the field of energy Internet, cultivate five Beijing Stock Exchange listed enterprises specializing in energy Internet technology, and realize an annual output value of at least 60 billion yuan within five years. In terms of infrastructure construction, the project of the regional headquarters of China Oil & Gas Pipeline Network Corporation (PipeChina) in China was implemented. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the project is expected to obtain 5 billion yuan in revenue and contribute 300 million yuan to tax revenue annually.
