On February 15, the Information Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province held a press conference. According to the conference, Shandong will cultivate "ten brands, one hundred enterprises, and one thousand excellent products" for pre-made food, actively build platforms for production and marketing matchmaking and new product promotion, further expand the consumer end market, drive industrial upgrading and the increase of farmers' income, and create new advantages for agricultural development in Shandong.

Shandong has been working hard to seize the development opportunities of pre-made food in recent years. Weifang City has taken the lead in introducing special support policies for the pre-made food industry and compiled a white list of pre-made food enterprises and products. Zhucheng City has cultivated 556 pre-made food processing enterprises to form an industrial cluster for pre-made food with its value reaching more than 10 billion yuan. Laiyang City has launched 18 measures to support industrial development and vigorously promote the development of the pre-made food industry.

Next, Shandong will accelerate its upgrading from a large agricultural province to a strong agricultural province, focus on improving its comprehensive agricultural production capacity, and strengthen its ability in guaranteeing important agricultural products; enhance agricultural sci-tech innovation and make a strategic sci-tech innovation plan for the seed industry that covers the whole industrial chain; promote agricultural development across the industrial chain and build a batch of competitive and characteristic industrial clusters with their value reaching more than 100 billion yuan and 10 billion yuan; improve the level of green agricultural development and develop a leading area for green agricultural development; promote the open development of agriculture and create a new platform for agricultural opening-up.
