On April 3, a batch of "Zhoucun Silk" products worth USD 8,409.7, such as silk scrunchies, eye masks and pillowcases, were transported from Zibo Daranfang Silk Group Co., Ltd. to France by air through the form of cross-border e-commerce of B2B.
Relying on a solid foundation for industrial development, Zhoucun District has become a national pilot area for textile industrial clusters and played an important role in facilitating labor employment and promoting high-quality economic development. In the district, there are 33 enterprises above the designated size in the clothing and textile industry. Notably, the focus of its industrial structure has shifted from producing traditional fabric and towel blanket products to developing and producing high-grade and functional fabrics.
For enterprises, the open, multi-dimensional, and integrated multilateral economic and trade cooperation model built by cross-border e-commerce has effectively broadened the path to enter the international market and facilitated the optimal allocation of resources and mutual benefits and win-win results of enterprises.
In 2022, Zibo City issued the Notice on Several Measures to Promote the High-quality Development of Cross-border E-commerce to provide support in seven aspects such as cultivating cross-border e-commerce subjects, building industrial parks and overseas warehouses, and promoting talent incubation. This year, Zibo's cross-border e-commerce online comprehensive service platform was officially launched to provide convenient, one-stop and low-cost comprehensive cross-border services for cross-border e-commerce import and export businesses. Up to now, there are 357 cross-border e-commerce enterprises and five overseas warehouses registered with the customs authority under the jurisdiction of Zibo Customs.
