The General Office of Qingdao Municipal People's Government recently issued Several Policies on the Development of Qingdao Precision Instrument Industrial Park, using policies as leverage to accelerate the agglomeration of precision instrument enterprises in Qingdao Precision Instrument Industrial Park located in Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Thus, Qingdao aims to improve the completeness and competitiveness of the industrial chain and build a headquarters base for the instrument industry in northern China.
The precision instrument industry is one of the key emerging industries in Qingdao's plan for future development. Qingdao Precision Instrument Industrial Park covers a total area of 2,903.5 mu (about 193.56 hectares). According to the document, the park will focus on developing industrial measurement and control systems and devices, experimental analysis instruments as well as sensors and core components and extending, completing, and strengthening industrial chains for the three fields.
In total, the document encompasses ten support measures. For three consecutive years, Qingdao Municipal Finance Bureau will invest 100 million yuan annually in the construction of the park, and provide support in accelerating the agglomeration of high-quality projects, supporting the large-scale development of enterprises, supporting enterprises to strengthen sci-tech innovation, and encouraging the promotion and application of products.
