AroundtheSpringFestival,166localenterpriseswereorganizedtogotoJapan,SouthKorea,Malaysia,Vietnam,theEUandothermarketstoconductoverseasbusinessnegotiationsandsignedUSD1.6billionworthofcontractsandorders(includingintentions).ShandonghasformulatedthePlanofOrganizing100ExhibitionsOverseastoExpandtheMarketin2023.Inthefirstquarter,251localenterpriseswereorganizedbytheDepartmentofCommerceofShandongProvincetoparticipateinthreeexhibitionshostedbyShandonginJapanandSingapore,i.e.theShandongAgriculturalProductsTokyoExhibition,theShandongExportCommoditiesOsakaExhibition,aswellastheShandongMechanicalandElectricalProductsSingaporeExhibition,withtheintendedtransactionamountreaching500millionyuan.
Shandong'scitieshaveintroducedtheirrespectivemunicipalexhibitionplansaccordingtotheirrealityandformulatedandoptimizedsupportingpolicies.Accordingtopreliminarystatistics,morethan60overseasexhibitionswereorganizedbyShandong'scitiesinthefirstquarter,withtheintendedtransactionamountreaching1.5billionyuan.Shandongalsoactivelypreparedforthe133rdCantonFairandcoordinatedwiththeMinistryofCommerceofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaandtheChinaForeignTradeCentreforthebroadscopeofitsparticipatingenterprises.Itisestimatedthatabout2,000Shandongenterpriseswillattendtheevent.
