To further strengthen the foundation of Shandong-Hong Kong-Macao cooperation and create a better atmosphere for industrial economic and trade cooperation, the "2023 Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week" Industrial Cooperation Matchmaking Conference was held in Hong Kong on the morning of May 31.
At the event, Zhang Haibo, Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, noted that Hong Kong and Macao were important partners of Shandong and the tripartite cooperation boasted a long history and solid foundation. Shandong possesses a robust industrial foundation and a huge market scale, which will provide sufficient cooperation space for Hong Kong and Macao enterprises and universities. In the future, Shandong's industries will absorb innovative resources with utmost enthusiasm, promote green and low-carbon development, strengthen and optimize the digital economy, and comprehensively deepen financial cooperation, to push Shandong-Hong Kong-Macao cooperation to a new height.
Nine major projects were signed on site, involving new energy and materials, industrial Internet, industrial talent cooperation, and others, with a total amount of 9.3 billion yuan. In particular, the "XINGHUO Blockchain" application project coherently signed by Inspur Cloud and DRHG will serve Macao, China, Portuguese-speaking countries, Southeast Asia, and many other regions, saving office energy consumption by about 23% for nearly 1,000 enterprises. Shandong will contribute to cross-border digital trade cooperation; the "New Energy Storage Intelligent Manufacturing Factory" project signed by Heze Water Group and Concord New Energy reaches 3 billion yuan in total investment and will help Shandong Province develop green and low-carbon industries; five enterprises including Inspur Smart Terminal attempted to attract funds from Hong Kong and Macao to emerging fields such as high-tech and digital economy to deepen the tripartite cooperation.
