Recently, Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and provincial-level chain leader of the new-generation information technology industrial chain, led an investigation team to visit some enterprises and R&D institutions in Jinan and Zibo to understand the development situation, comparative advantages and weaknesses of the new-generation information technology industry and seek solutions for optimizing and upgrading the industrial chain.

Lin Wu pointed out that the new-generation information technology industry is one of the strategic emerging industries Shandong has focused on developing. In recent years, it has achieved positive results in industrial scale, innovation ability and scenario application, but still faces some problems to be solved urgently. Relevant departments at all levels should solidly promote the high-quality development of the new-generation information technology industry, and provide support for building Shandong into a strong modern province; adhere to the innovation-driven development strategy, accelerate the construction of innovation platforms, and promote new breakthroughs in core technologies in key areas; further improve the industrial chain, give full play to the driving role of leading enterprises, focus on complementing, extending and strengthening the industrial chain, and promote the continuous expansion of the industrial scale and the overall upgrading of the industrial chain; promote the deep integration of the new-generation information technology with the real economy, and provide digital power for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries; optimize the business environment and conduct extensive investigations and researches in line with thematic education to understand the demands of enterprises, study pragmatic measures and help solve practical problems.
