On June 26, Qingdao Customs launched 30 measures to optimize the business environment and facilitate cross-border trade, which enhanced the coordinated impact of policies and measures. It is reported that these measures mainly focus on six aspects such as serving major national strategies, building smart ports, developing an international logistics hub, boosting industrial optimization and upgrading, benchmarking business environment evaluation, and helping enterprises solve difficulties and remain stable. The goal is to ensure the full implementation of policies.
To make breakthroughs and improvements in implementing major national strategies, Qingdao Customs will strengthen the support for major national strategic policies, advance coordinated development in the Yellow River basin, facilitate the construction of the SCO International Hub Port, and promote the upgrade of service platforms.
Regarding the efforts in breakthroughs in the development of smart ports, Qingdao Customs will drive the digital transformation of key ports and welcome qualified ports to apply for smart port pilot projects, so as to expand the whole-chain facilitation scenarios of "smart customs".
To make progress in the building of an international logistics hub, Qingdao Customs will combine efforts to create a "Shandong Ports Quick Pass" mode, further release the dividends of the policy of tax rebate for ports of departure, and cooperate with ports to build an "intelligent transshipment supervision platform", so as to facilitate cross-border transportation of transit goods and continuously improve logistics management efficiency.
