Recently, the first Cross-border E-commerce Talent Festival of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “talent festival”) was successfully held. The talent festival included four parts: a Seminar on Talent Development in the Cross-border E-commerce Industry, a Job Fair for Cross-border E-commerce Talent in the Free Trade Zone, an Exhibition and Sales Market for Import and Export Goods in the Free Trade Zone, and a Youth Beer Cultural Festival in the Free Trade Zone.

Cross-border e-commerce is the fastest-growing, most promising, and most influential new format of foreign trade. The purpose of organizing this talent festival is to promote the deep integration of talent, education, industry, and innovation chains in the field of cross-border e-commerce. It aims to provide more opportunities for communication between enterprises and talents, and to help more outstanding young talents showcase their abilities in the cross-border e-commerce sector.

Heads of prominent e-commerce platforms were invited to participate in the Seminar on Talent Development in the Cross-border E-commerce Industry to share their experience on the trends and development of cross-border e-commerce, as well as the integration of industry and education to support the development of talent in this field. At the Job Fair for Cross-border E-commerce Talent in the Free Trade Zone, more than 50 companies were present, offering nearly 400 job positions. Over 400 students from 12 universities specializing in relevant fields attended the event.
