52 Shandong Enterprises Listed on China’s Top 500 Private Companies in 2023

On September 12, the 2023 Research and Analysis Report on China's Top 500 Private Enterprises was released at the 2023 China Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit. According to the report, a total of 52 enterprises in Shandong Province were selected, ranking third in the country in number. Compared with the list in 2022, Shandong has two more enterprises entering the list.

The threshold for entry into the list of top 500 private enterprises reaches 27.578 billion yuan, an increase of 1.211 billion yuan from the previous year; that for entry into the top 500 private manufacturing enterprises is 14.516 billion yuan, an increase of 1.944 billion yuan; that for the top 100 private service ones is 31.404 billion yuan, an increase of 1.289 billion yuan. Among the Shandong companies in the list of top 500 private enterprises, Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Co., Ltd. secured the top spot once again and ranked 7th overall. Shandong Dongming Petrochemical Group secured the 58th position on the list.

It is reported that private economic market entities account for over 98% of the total, with their shares of imports, exports, and tax revenue all exceeding 70%, and providing employment .
