The Zaozhuang Municipal People's Government, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shandong Sub-Council, and Energy Administration of Shandong Province will hold the 2nd Zaozhuang International Lithium Battery Industry Exhibition from September 16 to 18. The event is anticipated to surpass the scale of the previous year, establishing itself as a pivotal milestone in the realm of new energy. Its significance is expected to propel the development of the lithium battery industry in Zaozhuang.
       Aligned with the "Dual Carbon" strategic objective, Zaozhuang is devoted to constructing a zero-carbon smart park encompassing the entire PV industry chain. Notably, Quanwei New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. achieved remarkable progress in just eight months by completing the heterojunction project, boasting an annual production capacity of 15 GW heterojunction cells and 15 GW photovoltaic modules. This accomplishment positions it as the largest production base in Shandong Province, poised to entice further enterprises within the PV industry chain. Zaozhuang actively supports the expansion of the lithium battery industry and currently houses 21 enterprises operating within the new energy and lithium battery industrial chain. These enterprises generated RMB 14.7 billion in revenue in 2022 and RMB 7.786 billion in the first half of this year, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 4.09%. Concurrently, Zaozhuang is actively driving the growth of the photovoltaic and energy storage sectors, expediting the construction of power projects while proactively securing funds in advance to ensure the smooth progression of the industrial chain project construction.
