During an afternoon press conference hosted by the State Council Information Office, it was officially announced that the Fourth Annual Multinational Corporation Leaders Summit, jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Shandong Province, is scheduled to take place in Qingdao from October 10th to 12th.

Themed “Multinational Corporations and China”, this summit will feature a diverse program of 24 events across 14 categories. In addition to the grand opening ceremony and high-level meetings between provincial and ministerial leaders and esteemed guests, the summit will include forums for multinational corporations, discreet policy dialogues with national ministries and commissions, presentations on China’s foreign investment attraction policies, and project introductions centered around the theme of “Innovation and Development for Mutual Prosperity”. Moreover, the event will host a special promotion focused on investment cooperation in the Yellow River Basin, an economic advisory council meeting hosted by the Shandong Provincial Government, an industry promotion event highlighting Shandong Province, and a dedicated presentation session for multinational corporations. It will also facilitate meetings between delegations from guest provinces and the host province. In addition to these activities, the summit will showcase a themed exhibition titled “Multinational Corporations and China”. This exhibition aims to spotlight the collaborative endeavors between multinational corporations and China’s industrial sector in the modern era, highlighting the achievements of multinational corporations in China, cutting-edge technologies, and their intentions for future collaboration.
