Big Data Empowers Shandong’s Talent Introduction to Inject New Vitality into Industrial Development

In recent years, Shandong has used digital technologies such as big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence to empower and support its high-level talent introduction work and optimize its talent innovation platforms. Thus, a talent work and service system covering the life cycle of "talent introduction, cultivation, retention, and utilization" has been formed in the province.

A provincial-level enterprise in the province plans to introduce "high-level technical experts with outstanding ability and rich experience in the metallurgical field" this year, but due to a lack of such expert resources and other reasons, no suitable candidate has been found. Shandong Talent Group has gathered more than 300 million pieces of talent data, utilized the massive talent database and a large talent data model, and found more than 40 industrial technical experts in the metallurgical field; used the "talent portrait" evaluation system independently developed by it to study and evaluate the fitness of each expert with Shandong, the industry and the provincial-level enterprise, and finally determined a high-level technical expert who most highly matches with the needs of the enterprise; chose the best one from multiple approaches recommended by big data to find the talent and successfully established a bridge between industries and talent and empowered it.
