On October 11, the Fourth Qingdao Multinationals Summit (QMS), co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, kicked off in Qingdao.
Now, the summit has helped bring about a number of new cooperation results between Shandong and multinationals. In total, 194 foreign investment projects were under negotiation or signed, with the combined investment reaching USD 20.6 billion. At the opening ceremony, 24 key cooperation projects with a total investment of USD 6.05 billion were signed. Some projects had an investment of up to USD 1.4 billion.
These projects signed at the opening ceremony represent the latest cooperation achievements between Shandong and multinationals. In the future, Shandong will continue to improve its business climate and policies to help multinationals achieve new development in Shandong with practical services.
