Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province organized the identification of technological innovation demonstration enterprises in Shandong Province in 2023. After voluntary declaration by enterprises, recommendation by relevant departments, expert demonstration, publicity, and other procedures, 107 enterprises were identified as Shandong's provincial technological innovation demonstration enterprises in 2023.

Shandong has made it clear that all places in the province should increase guidance and support for technological innovation demonstration enterprises and actively help them solve the difficulties encountered in the process of technological innovation. Meanwhile, these enterprises should carry out more extensive innovation activities, continuously improve their technological innovation capabilities, make breakthroughs in core technologies in key fields, and accelerate the industrial transformation of innovation achievements.

In addition to the identification, review and evaluation of provincial technological innovation demonstration enterprises, Shandong has selected some of the best provincial technological innovation demonstration enterprises and recommended them to apply for national technological innovation demonstration enterprises. The applicants should have outstanding achievements in making breakthroughs in core technologies in key fields and industrialization in key manufacturing fields.
