At the beginning of the new year, several cities in Shandong Province held meetings to deploy economic work. With the introduction of new policies for stabilizing the economy, multiple major projects have commenced, and enterprises and factories are operating at a high speed.

In Jinan, the Future Cloud Valley project, with AI technology as its core, focuses on gaining first-mover advantages in the industries of the future, such as future networks, AI, and metaverse technology. The project aims to create application scenarios, establish a data ecosystem, cultivate diverse future-related industries, and form an industrial cluster in Jinan with a prominent digital economy.

In Jining, the Sino-Korean high-end equipment manufacturing project of Hosung Yongsheng Co., Ltd., once in operation, is expected to produce 200 sets of high-end forging and pressing equipment annually, generate 2 billion yuan in sales, provide around 500 job opportunities, contribute 150 million yuan in profit and tax, and obtain a domestic market share of 30%.

In Qingdao, the Jimo offshore photovoltaic project of the Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina) is actively progressing. Once in operation, it is expected to generate approximately 1.92TWh of electricity annually and save 550,000 tons of standard coal. In the future, the project aims to explore more application scenarios of new energy.
