On February 4, the Information Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province held a press conference on the economy, titled "Learning about Shandong's Development with Data". In 2023, Shandong Province introduced a series of policies and measures to serve the construction of green, low-carbon, and high-quality development pilot zones and optimize the business environment.

We have made solid progress in transforming Shandong into a province strong in product quality, focusing on six landmark industrial chains such as high-end equipment, new energy and new materials. Following the principle of "one policy for one chain", we launched an initiative aimed at advancing business growth through quality enhancement. This initiative emphasizes broad quality improvements across all industrial chains. We pioneered the establishment of a one-stop service platform for the province's quality infrastructure, which has successfully facilitated the precise alignment of quality resources with the needs of various industries. Our efforts to nurture high-end brands have also been instrumental in elevating the prestige and recognition of premium Shandong products.

We expedited the creation of standards in crucial and nascent sectors, established and initiated several innovation hubs and enterprises focused on standardization, and took a leading role or contributed to the development of 25 international standards and 1,151 national standards over the year. Standardization consciousness among businesses in Shandong Province saw considerable growth, and the new "Shandong Standard" framework experienced ongoing enhancements.
