On February 26, the 2024 Spring On-site Promotion Conference for the Construction of Major High-quality Development Projects in Shandong Province was held simultaneously in 16 cities of Shandong Province. Shandong focuses on high-end, intelligent, green, and concentrated growth, with new energy and new material projects playing a major role. It marks Shandong's current transition from competing with others in traditional segments to serving as a leader in new segments. There is an increasingly clear pattern of economic development led by new growth drivers and structures.

This time, 1,007 projects have commenced construction. In Jinan, the main city, there is AIKO's high-efficiency solar module phase I project. In the other 15 cities, there are various projects including the project for high-end engine components with an annual output of 400,000 units of FAW's base in Qingdao, the intelligent collaborative robot ecosystem industrial base project of FAIRINO (Zibo) Robot Technology Co., Ltd., Sunwoda's project for the recycling of 100,000 tons of lithium batteries and new-type energy storage intelligent manufacturing in Zaozhuang, Judian New Energy's production base project for the annual production of 5GWh stand-alone large-capacity solid-state polymer lithium batteries and battery packs in Dongying, the 25GWh large cylindrical energy storage battery project of Yantai Lihua Power Technology Co., Ltd., the magnetic levitation intelligent manufacturing industrialization project in Weifang, and Great Wall Heavy Industry's new energy engineering machinery project with an annual output of 50,000 units in Jining.
