In 2024, Jinan will drive the extension of the industrial chain with project construction, and accelerate the building of a modern aerospace information industrial system with complete industrial supporting facilities and outstanding characteristic advantages, according to a recent special session of Jinan Development and Reform Commission at a series of Jinan's press conferences on the theme of "Vigorously Deepening Project Construction to Promote High-quality Development in an All-round Way".

The Commission has developed an aerospace information industry project library. Up to now, 70 key projects with a total investment of RMB 44.03 billion have been planned and reserved, including 41 projects with a total investment of RMB 31.4 billion that have started construction.

In terms of attracting projects, Jinan Development and Reform Commission compiled the Investment Attraction Map for Aerospace Information Industry, and facilitated the implementation of the joint investment attraction mechanism of "a special work team + leading enterprises + financial institutions". Throughout the year of 2023, the Commission has carried out 12 activities to attract investment and talents, contacted more than 30 key enterprises in China, and have introduced Deep Blue Aerospace liquid rocket engine, power system testing and manufacturing base, as well as complete aircraft manufacturing projects such as light sport aircraft, and tandem-rotor unmanned helicopters. As a result, the industrial chain has been further strengthened and consolidated.
