The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China recently announced the list of pilot demonstration projects for industrial Internet in 2023, with 21 projects from Shandong Province included, represented by COSMO-GPT, an industrial LLM innovation application project.

The 21 selected pilot demonstration projects from Shandong Province are divided into 10 categories, namely the industrial Internet integrating LLMs, industrial Internet integrating big data, industrial Internet integrating edge computing, 5G factory, industrial Internet digital transformation promotion center, the secondary node service platform for industrial Internet identification resolution, industrial Internet platform integrating work safety, industrial Internet platform integrating quality management, industrial Internet platform integrating industrial chain/supply chain collaboration, and security service innovation platforms. Two categories, respectively for pilot projects in the industrial Internet platform integrating work safety and 5G factory, witnessed the most selected enterprises. The 5G factories of Qingdao Haier (for drum washing machine manufacturing), Jinan Aohai Carbon, and other two enterprises were selected in the corresponding category; also, five projects, such as the "industrial Internet +" concept-based intelligent control platform for work safety, were selected in the other one.
