Recently, the People's Government of Shandong Province issued the "Ten Innovations" Initiative (2024-2025), the "Ten Industries" Initiative (2024-2025) and the "Ten Demand Expansions" Initiative (2024-2025) to promote the sustainable and healthy development of Shandong's economy and society.

Specifically, the "Ten Industries" Initiative consists of a total of 12 action plans for new energy, new materials, cultural creativity, fine tourism, etc. There are 516 main tasks and key tasks and supporting measures have been clearly defined for technological innovation, industrial clusters, leading enterprises, park construction, etc. Take the action plan for the new-generation information technology industry as an example. The action plan clearly states that efforts should be made to strengthen key digital industries, make breakthroughs in core technologies in key areas, optimize industrial development layout, strengthen the main driving force for development, enhance the competitiveness of the industrial chain, and improve the environment for industrial development. The annual revenue of Shandong's information technology industry will increase by more than 10% on average and exceed 2.2 trillion yuan and 2.4 trillion yuan respectively in 2024 and 2025. With these efforts, Shandong strives to build an important industrial cluster for new-generation information technology, a leading demonstration zone for integrated application, and a new leading area for technological innovation and development in China.
