The 2018 Shandong Week, themed with "Sharing Opportunities, Selecting Shandong", will kick off in Hong Kong from December 3 to 7. Shandong is set to introduce 256 Top 10 industrial projects to their targeted investors from around the world.

This event is hosted by the People's Government of Shandong Province and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), undertaken by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province and co-sponsored by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Hong Kong Chinese Importers' & Exporters' Association, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, the Hong Kong China Chamber of Commerce and the Shandong-Hong Kong Overseas Investment and Financing Association (SHIFA). This is the 10th consecutive year for Shandong to hold this event in Hong Kong since the establishment of the high-level promotion mechanism for exchanges and cooperation between Shandong and Hong Kong in 2009.

At the 2018 Shandong Week, Shandong will primarily bring over 256 Top 10 industrial projects, involving a wide range of sectors including NGIT, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, medical care and health, high-end chemical industry, culture creativity, quality tourism, marine economy, modern agriculture, and transportation infrastructure.

During this event, a number of conferences will be convened such as the Introduction Roadshow of Shandong's Top 10 Industries for Development with International Capital, Shandong-Hong Kong Financial Cooperation Forum & IPO Exchanges for Deepening Mutually Beneficial Cooperation, and Symposium for Reform and Development of State-owned Enterprises. The 2018 Shandong Week will bring together a total of 200 companies such as Shandong Commercial Group Co., Qilu Transportation Development Group, Hiking Group, BIOBASE, Order Group, Shandong H&C Property Management Limited, JuJuBest and WEGO.
