The Largest Offshore Shore Power Project in China Completed the Installation of Electric Power Platform

On October 25, the offshore installation of Kenli 10-1 offshore electric power platform completed, which marks the completion of offshore installation operations of China's largest shore power application project and further promotion of the replacement of clean energy.

The offshore power platform is the core facility of the shore power application project, which can be described as the "heart" of offshore shore power. As an important transfer station connecting offshore and onshore power grids, it changed the energy consumption mode that the original offshore oilfield relying on power generation by crude oil (gas) main engine, and realized the power innovation of offshore oilfield, which could not only reduce the electricity cost of surrounding new oilfields, but also develop "increase income and reduce expenditure" for oilfield, but also establish a "highway" of large broadband communication with optical fiber between offshore oilfield and onshore, laying a good foundation for the construction of intelligent oilfield and digital oilfield.
