From December 2 to 4, the first China (Macao) High-quality Consumption Exhibition & Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum (hereafter referred to as "the Forum") was held in two venues in Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and Macao. The aim of hosting this event was to vigorously promote Shandong Province's cooperation with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Portuguese-speaking countries in economy and trade.

For the Forum, the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province organized enterprises in healthcare of traditional Chinese medicine, biological beauty product and skincare, Sports gear, and other fields of the Big Health Industry to participate in the event. The participating enterprises included: Dong'e Ejiao, the enterprise with the only national engineering technology research center of gelatin-based traditional Chinese medicine; Shandong Hongjitang Pharmaceutical Group, a company established in 1907 and a leading player in the traditional Chinese medicine field of Big Health Industry; Qingdao Bright Moon Seaweed Group, a front runner in seaweed extract products worldwide; Shandong Freda Biotechnology, the first Chinese enterprise to conduct R&D and production of skincare products of Hyaluronic acid and Polyglutamic acid; Taishan Group, a national Single Champion and demonstration enterprise in the manufacturing sector, and others.

Relying on the geographical advantages of the bridgehead of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Shandong Province will drive forward the process of "going global" of quality products in the Big Health Industry of Shandong, while raising the public awareness of healthcare, sports, and fitness.
