After information pooling, strict auditing, expert evaluation and other procedures, Farmer's Daily released the list of "China’s Top 500 Agricultural Enterprises", which will be public reviewed from December 15 to 22, 2022. 77 Shandong enterprises such as Bohai Industry, Xiwang Group, Xiangchi (Scents) Holding, Shuifa Agriculture Group, and Tsingtao Brewery are among the list.

According to statistics, among the top 500 Chinese agricultural enterprises in 2022, six agricultural enterprises have revenue of more than RMB 100 billion. 119 agricultural enterprises have revenue between RMB 10-100 billion, of which 16 are based in Shandong. Among the enterprises in Shandong (based on the place of registration), Bohai Industry ranked 27th with RMB 47.43 billion in revenue, Xiwang Group ranked 35th with RMB 33.69 billion, Xiangchi Holding ranked 36th with RMB 32.01 billion, Shuifa Agriculture Group ranked 37th with RMB 31.67 billion, and Tsingtao Brewery ranked 42nd with RMB 30.17 billion.

In addition, 11 Shandong enterprises have a revenue of more than RMB 10 billion. They are Zhucheng Waimao, Fufeng Group, Jinxiang Kaisheng Agriculture, Longda Meishi, Jiajiayue Group, Delis Group, Yatai Zhonghui Group, Shandong Sanxing Group, Canliang Huinong Vegetables, Jiu Lian Group, and Jinxiang Longcheng Fruits and Vegetables.
