Recently, the 2022 World Industrial Internet Conference themed "Digital Navigation for Mutual Benefits and Win-win Results" kicked off at Qingdao International Conference Center, marking the eighth dialogue between Qingdao's industrial Internet and the world. Ling Wen, Vice Governor of Shandong Province, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech via video link. Geng Tao, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor of Qingdao, attended and addressed the conference offline. Li Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area, attended the conference.

Ling Wen said in his speech that in recent years, the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Shandong Province have conscientiously implemented the guiding principles from General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions, actively planned to promote the development of industrial Internet, and developed four national-level cross-industry and cross-field industrial Internet platforms such as COSMOPlat, four national first digital pilot enterprises such as Inspur, and 155 provincial-level key platforms with characteristics. Thanks to these efforts, Shandong Province has ranked among the best nationwide in the index of the integration of information technology and industrialization and the index of industrial digitalization.

At the conference, the "Industrial Internet Integrated Empowerment Platform" was officially launched; Qingdao's Implementation Plan (2023-2025) to Accelerate the Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry to Build A Smart Manufacturing City, Industrial Internet Platform Operating System, and other achievements were released; nameplates were given to Haier Smart Home, CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd., Sailun Group, and other national first digital pilot enterprises; the nameplate for China's first digital transformation "standardization plus" joint workstation was unveiled. Qingdao's achievements and practices in the field of the industrial Internet have been shown.
