Lately, the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) under China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the List of Top 100 Biomedical Industrial Parks in 2022. Among 168 national-level high-tech zones and 230 national-level economic and technological development zones, Weifang Biomedical Industrial Park ranked 38th, up 11 places over last year.

In recent years, Weifang Biomedical Industrial Park has focused on developing itself into a national first-class biomedical park. It has made breakthroughs in the economic aggregate, pillar industries, technological innovation, and industrial chain development and ensured improvements in Party building, park operation, and conduct. Meanwhile, it has made constant efforts to develop its main businesses and generated an obvious agglomeration effect in characteristic industries.

Since the beginning of this year, Weifang Biomedical Industrial Park has achieved a revenue of 13.3 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 15%, and its tax payment has reached 300 million yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 13%. Its fixed-asset investment has grown by 90.78% year on year to 54.62 million yuan. Moreover, 21 new enterprises have been introduced and 13 projects with an investment of more than 100 million yuan have been signed. Specifically, their combined investment has reached 7.24 billion yuan, of which 632 million yuan has been in place.
