Weiqiao Textile Innovation Center Base for Industrial Advanced Intelligent Technology and Product Technology and other 24 institutions in the textile industry were selected as innovative platforms in 2022, according to the Notice on Innovative Platforms in the Textile Industry released by the China National Textile And Apparel Council.

To identify innovative platforms, the following metrics are considered and evaluated, including main intellectual property rights, the results of their national, provincial, and industrial projects, the national, provincial and ministerial, and industrial awards, and the international, national, and industrial standards formulated or participated by them The notice urged shortlisted units to follow the regulations and requirements of innovative platform management in the textile industry to develop and manage platforms, thus enhancing the R&D ability and the core competitiveness, and playing a leading and exemplary role in the technological innovation of the textile industry.
