On January 11, the Information Office of Ji'ning Municipal People's Government held the first session of a press conference series themed "Make Concerted Efforts to Build the City into a Manufacturing Powerhouse and Accelerate the Shaping of New Drivers to Create New Advantages", to interpret the Policy Measures on Supporting the High-quality Development of the Biomedical Industry in Ji'ning.

Serving as an important link in the "231" industrial clusters built by Ji'ning, the biomedical industry has nurtured a number of leading backbone enterprises such as Lukang Pharmaceutical and Cisen Pharmaceutical, basically forming an industrial pattern dominated by chemical pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, modern traditional Chinese medicine, and medical equipment.

Consisting of eight parts and 18 policy measures, the Policy Measures provides support in the industrialization of innovative drugs, the development of traditional Chinese medicine, industrialization of innovative medical equipment, development of formula food for special medical use, industrialization of innovative veterinary drugs, expansion of domestic and international markets, construction of pharmaceutical innovation service platforms, and subcontract production of innovative drugs and medical equipment.
