Shandong Shoulders the Responsibility as a Major Agricultural Province and Achieves Constant Progress in Rural Revitalization

Shandong Province has given top priority to setting a model of rural revitalization. To achieve this, Shandong has made solid efforts to gather all kinds of resources and elements to develop rural areas, create a strong joint force through synergies, and promote the overall development of rural revitalization.

Industrial revitalization is of paramount importance for rural revitalization. Only by cultivating leading industries according to local conditions can farmers increase their income. According to the data, in the first quarter of 2023, the per capita disposable income of urban residents in Shandong was 14,021 yuan, up 3.8%; that of rural residents was 6,853 yuan, up 5.5%. It can be seen that the growth rate of per capita disposable income of rural residents is higher than that of urban residents.

Over recent years, Shandong has worked hard to revitalize rural areas from diverse fields such as industry, talent, culture, ecology, and organization. Shandong has effectively promoted the rural revitalization strategy with a strong sense of responsibility and mission, striving to create a model for rural revitalization and build beautiful and prosperous villages.
