Since the beginning of this year, Qingdao West Coast New Area Marine Development Bureau has thoroughly implemented the requirements of the special action to "improve capacity and work style and optimize the business environment", with aims to make innovative breakthroughs with a stronger sense of responsibility, more accurate policies and measures, and more excellent capacity and work style, create a market-oriented, law-based, and internationally first-class marine business environment, and make the New Area an example in ocean management.

At the beginning of the special action to "improve capacity and work style and optimize the business environment", Qingdao West Coast New Area Marine Development Bureau issued the Implementation Plan for the Special Action to "Improve Capacity and Work Style and Optimize the Business Environment" in combination with the actual work. The implementation plan requires that the building of a first-class business environment should be given more prominence in 2023,  more attention should be focused on optimizing the "Six Environments", more efforts should be made in the in-depth implementation of the "Six Special Improvement Actions", so as to achieve "three major improvements" in business environment, capacity and work style, and development quality, and build the Bureau into a benchmark unit for Shandong's marine business environment.
