Recently, the National County-level Tourism Research Team and the Beijing Huaxia Baiqiang Tourism Consulting Center jointly released the results of the 5th national county-level tourism research, "Research Report on the High-quality Development of National County-level Tourism 2023," the list of "Top 100 Counties by Comprehensive Strength in County-level Tourism in China in 2023" and the list of "Top 100 Counties by Development Potential in County-level Tourism in China in 2023."

Tengzhou City, Rongcheng City, Yishui County, and Yinan County of Shandong Province were included in the list of "Top 100 Counties by Comprehensive Strength in County-level Tourism in China in 2023." Qihe County was included in the list of "Top 100 Counties by Development Potential in County-level Tourism in China in 2023."

According to the report, the research on the comprehensive strength in county-level tourism has developed a research system with 32 indicators in six aspects: the development level of the tourism economy, the driving role of the government, the comprehensive driving function of the tourism industry, tourism development and environmental protection, tourism facilities and service functions, and tourism quality supervision and market regulation. The top 100 counties with the highest scores were selected as "Top 100 Counties by Comprehensive Strength in County-level Tourism in China in 2023."
