It is busy everywhere in the Dongying Chemical Industry Park. Haike Group, a leading enterprise in the chemical industrial chain in Dongying District, is laying the foundations of the Yike New Materials Industrial Park, which is a key transformation and upgrading project of the group.

The Yike New Materials Industrial Park project aims to create the world's leading ABS production line in China and fill the gap in domestic production of high-solid-content styrene-butadiene rubber latex. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to generate an additional output value of RMB 10 billion and profit and tax of RMB 1.3 billion annually and provide over 500 job opportunities. It will also drive the extension of the chemical industrial chain in Dongying District, laying a foundation for establishing an advanced chemical new materials manufacturing base in China.

In recent years, Dongying District has adhered to the goal of high-quality development of the petrochemical industry. It has timely completed the boundary adjustment of the chemical industry park and its identification as a compliance park, providing physical space for major projects of enterprises like Yike and Xinzhihui. Meantime, it continues to carry out policy publicity, improving enterprise services through infrastructure development and policy promotion. Seven selected high-end chemical projects including the Yike high-end resin new materials industrial park have been put into construction, with a total investment exceeding RMB 7 billion, promoting the transformation and development of the chemical industry from basic refined and chemical products to chemical new materials and high-end chemicals.
