On November 9, the opening ceremony of the 20th China International Agricultural Trade Fair (CATF) and Forum on Strengthening Agriculture kicked off in Qingdao, Shandong. With the theme of "Forging Ahead on a New Journey, Strengthening Agriculture and Promoting Revitalization", this CATF aims to "demonstrate achievements, promote exchanges, and facilitate trade".

Nearly 3,000 enterprises from 18 countries and regions participated in the fair, and more than 10,000 agricultural products of different brands appeared there. During the Fair, agricultural and rural departments of various regions and relevant industry associations and enterprises held more than 30 brand promotion events and carried out activities such as the new product release and tasting experience.

It is reported that this year's agricultural trade fair has widely invited large agricultural product wholesale markets, agricultural product processing enterprises, supermarket logistics enterprises, e-commerce platforms, retail chain enterprises, catering enterprises, and other market entities to attend the fair for negotiation and procurement. As the host city, Qingdao aims to build "one comprehensive and two special" exhibition areas. A total of 159 agricultural enterprises and 248 kinds of high-quality characteristic agricultural products participated in the fair to fully display the high-quality development achievements of modern agriculture in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
