At the Special Brand-name Shandong Agricultural Products during the "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong" 2023 Presenting Event held in Beijing Exhibition Center on the morning of November 12, many characteristic agricultural products from Shandong such as Yantai apples, Zhangqiu green onions, Taishan tea, and Yicheng pomegranates were promoted. By doing so, Shandong aims to show the image of Shandong's quality characteristic agricultural products and the strength of Shandong's agricultural brands.

In recent years, Shandong has vigorously implemented the strategy of improving quality and launched a number of well-received high-quality products with local characteristics. As the largest agricultural province in China, Shandong boasts a host of characteristic and high-quality brand-name agricultural products that can represent "Remarkable Shandong."

Shandong has constantly beefed up efforts in brand cultivation, with the numbers of provincial well-known regional public agricultural brands and enterprise product brands increasing to 81 and 700, respectively. Since 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China has released two batches of lists for cultivating high-quality agricultural brands. A total of 16 agricultural brands of Shandong land on the lists, ranking first in China for two consecutive years.
