Our province has successively developed a series of high-end equipment such as ultra-deep water double-drilling tower semi-submersible drilling platform, CR400AF CEMU, high-end fault-tolerant computer, large-scale fast numerical control full-automatic stamping production line, and cheese digital automatic dyeing complete sets.

Industrial development

Since the launch of “Five-Year Plan”, Shandong has built 8 national new industrialized industrial demonstration bases and 26 provincial-level new industrialized industrial demonstration bases, forming a certain regional characteristics. Marine engineering equipment and high-tech ships in Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai, rail transit equipment in Jinan and Qingdao, high-end numerical control machine tools in Jinan and Zaozhuang, intelligent complete production lines in Tai’an and agricultural machinery and power equipment in Weifang have formed a clustering trend.

Industrial competitiveness

By 2022, our province will strive to earn the main business revenue of more than 2 trillion yuan in high-end equipment manufacturing industry; cultivate more than five 100-billion-level enterprise groups with international influence, more than 30 nationally leading 10-billion-level enterprises in comprehensive strength, 100 “specialized, fined, peculiar and new” champion enterprises in one aspect. By 2025, it will strive to earn the main business revenue of more than 3 trillion yuan, and the large enterprise groups will further expand.

Innovation capability

The capability of independent innovation will be significantly improved. By 2022, the investment in high-end equipment manufacturing technology R&D will account for more than 3% of the main business revenue, and the investment in key backbone enterprise technology R&D will account for more than 5%; more than 10 high-end equipment industry innovation platforms will be built, more than 20 high-level R&D institutions will be introduced and more than 30 independent innovation demonstration enterprises will be cultivated. By 2025, the investment in technology R&D is expected to reach 3.5%, forming a large number of domestic leading, internationally influential independent technologies, products and brands.

Industrial agglomeration

By 2022, three industrial core areas of Jinan, Qingdao and Yantai will be formed, with an industrial scale accounting for more than 60% of the province. By 2025, more than 10 characteristic industrial clusters (bases) will be established in the cities along Jiaozhou-Jinan Railway and Beijing-Shanghai Railway, forming a high-end equipment industry belt with distinctive characteristics, outstanding advantages and collaborative linkage.

With high-performance medical equipment and high-efficiency motors as emphasis, a public technology innovation platform will be built to promote the development of industrial cluster, and build a nationally leading high-performance medical equipment manufacturing base and advanced high-efficiency motor industry cluster.

Zaozhuang high-end numerical control machine tool industry belt

With high-end numerical control machine tool as emphasis and with an integration of resources, accelerate the pace of building Shandong Industrial Technology Research Institute of Zhejiang University and Machine Tool Research Institute of Beihang University, build a nationally advanced numerical control system and high-end numerical control machine tool industry cluster, and speed up the transformation of the capital of small and medium-sized machine tools to a high-end numerical control machine tool base.

Weifang intelligent agricultural industry belt

With intelligent agricultural equipment, ship engines, fuel cells and smart wearable devices as emphasis, build an intelligent agricultural machinery equipment innovation platform and a national hydrogen fuel cell innovation center, build a nationally leading intelligent agricultural machinery equipment base, a high-efficiency green power equipment base and a smart wearable equipment base.

With high-end agricultural implement as emphasis and with international high-end technologies and products as benchmarks, strengthen the cultivation of innovation capacity, integrate existing resources, promote the development of industrial cluster, and build a nationally leading high-end agricultural implement industry cluster. With laser printers, high-end medical robots and high-end ro-ro passenger ships as emphasis, accelerate the construction of key projects and build an internationally advanced global laser printer base and a nationally leading high-end medical robot base and a high-tech ship manufacturing base.
